We provide thoughtful, evidence-based medication management for adolescents and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). As with all of our services, this care is grounded in pediatric and adolescent medicine expertise, tailored to the developmental needs of each young person, and offered in partnership with families and referring providers.

Depression, anxiety, and OCD can profoundly affect daily functioning, school engagement, relationships, and overall well-being. These conditions often co-occur with other challenges our patients face, including substance use, disordered eating, or medical stressors, and benefit from coordinated, multidisciplinary care. Through careful clinical evaluation, we assess symptoms, explore biopsychosocial context, and determine whether medication may be helpful as part of a broader treatment plan.

Our clinicians combine medical expertise with compassionate care to:

  • Conduct a comprehensive psychiatric and medical evaluation

  • Discuss symptom patterns, treatment goals, and options

  • Explain potential benefits, risks, and expected timelines for medication effects

  • Coordinate with existing therapists, schools, and family supports

  • Provide ongoing monitoring and dose adjustments as needed

Medication, when indicated, is prescribed judiciously, with frequent follow-up to ensure safety, tolerability, and alignment with each patient’s evolving needs. We emphasize clear communication, shared decision-making, and support for both young people and their families throughout the process.

All care is provided by a board-certified adolescent medicine physician with specialized training in behavioral health.
